MEK Peroxide (Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide) is the catalyst of choice for polyester resins, casting, tooling, vinyl ester, ISO resins, and gelcoats. When this catalyst is mixed with the resin or gelcoat, a powerful chemical reaction takes place, generating heat that swiftly cures and hardens the material. Experience efficient and reliable curing with our MEK Peroxide Hardeners.
One gallon will cure approximately 100 gallons of resin and 50 gallons of gelcoat.
MEKP is an organic peroxide and should always be handled with care, using the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
